When it comes to you spending your money no question should go unanswered!

Every question deserves an answer and we never want our customers to leave without one. You can always feel free to give us a call or stop by to discuss your vehicle needs. However, for your convenience, we have provided some common FAQs that may answer some of your needs. If not, give us a call!

How long has Alan's Auto been in business?

We have happily served the Front Range region since 1996!

How can I tell if a mechanic is giving me an accurate diagnosis of needed repairs?

The key to accurate diagnostics is the diagnostic equipment used in the shop. Be sure to ask ahead of time how new their equipment is and see how extensive their diagnostic checklist is. It is also a good idea to get a firm quote for repairs and labor in writing. If there are unanswered questions then ask to be informed before any repairs are made. We are always happy to provide you with a second opinion!

Do you have same day service?

We always try to accommodate our customer's lifestyle needs. However, depending on the needed repairs, same day service may not be possible. It is always good to discuss your needs up front. Planning ahead and being on a regular maintenance program will not only keep your repairs to a minimum and performance to a maximum, but it will allow you to plan with us for the best possible time to get you in and out of the shop.

Do you use the same parts as a dealership?

If you want us to use original manufacturer parts we will certainly honor your request. However, our experience has shown that we can save you significant expense by using high-quality, alternative name-brand replacement parts. We suggest you first allow us to accurately diagnose your vehicle's problem, then compare the quality and cost of original manufacturer parts with other parts available for your particular repair.

What is the recommended time frame for oil changes?

Generally it is recommended that you change out your fluids every 3,000 miles or 3 months. For diesel 5,000 miles or 6 months. Keep in mind that synthetic oils differ in brand claim.

Do you sell new tires?

Yes! We offer new tires purchases along with tire repair. Whether you have a commercial rig or family vehicle, we can offer you good quality tires at reasonable prices.
